The story · La historia
A level line is a promise.
A crooked one is a confession. Every tiler knows the difference.
Before anything here had an app, there were tiles. Valentas Bartkevicius laid them and ran building sites in London, which is where you learn the oldest rule in building: nobody admires the drawing. They walk on the floor.
The habit came to Spain in 2019 and never left. Build the thing properly. Use it on an ordinary day. Fix what annoys you. Only then show it to anyone.
Build is where the small tools live. A salon with a standard. The app that runs its floor. And Safehouse, a messenger that forgets on purpose. None of them is a unicorn. All of them are made to be used on a Tuesday.
Antes de las apps, hubo azulejos. Valentas colocó suelos y dirigió obras en Londres. La costumbre llegó a España en 2019: construirlo bien, usarlo un martes cualquiera y, solo entonces, enseñarlo.
