Primero, la silla · The chair first
The person in the chair.
Software can wait. The lashes can’t.
On London building sites, Valentas Bartkevicius learned the oldest rule in building: nobody admires the drawing. They walk on the floor. A beauty salon runs on the same rule, with better lighting.
So the salon came first. A room with a standard: the person in the chair, the hour that was promised, the return visit. The tools stay quiet. The visit should feel looked after.
It is the first of the small things under Build, and the one the others have to answer to. If something doesn’t make an ordinary day in the salon easier, it waits.
Primero, la silla. Un salón con un estándar: la persona en la silla, la hora prometida y la próxima visita. Las herramientas, en silencio.
